Thankful Florets

A quick little post. I made this card a week ago but never got around to posting it. It has been a crazy start to this school year and I'm finding less and less time to do the things I love, let alone have time for my family.

I'm still making thank you cards for the para-educators in my department. I'm wanting to make sure each one is carefully and specially made. They are very special friends.

Inkspirations Challenges #83 is a cute sketch that gave me a bit of trouble. So many fun layers that it took me forever to decide what papers I wanted to use. I was quite stumped. Check out the sketch.

Don'tcha just love all the different layers? Here is my take on it.

I chose to ruffle ribbon instead of using a strip of cardstock. I chose to use only one patterned paper because of the multiple layering. It's simple but I love it.

Again, another handmade flower. And of course, I had to add glitter.

Card recipe: all items by Stampin' Up!
Cardstock- marina mist, chocolate chip, whisper white, certainly celery
Pattern paper- Greenhouse Gala
Stamps- Fabulous Florets
Ribbon
Scallop border punch, large and small round scallop punch
Ink- basic black, marina mist, old olive
Dazzling diamond glitter

Thank you for visiting!
